Com.V.A.N.Namboodiri,President,BSNLEU and Advisor,AIBDPA has
pursued the issue of 78.2% IDA fixation to the pensioners with the
newly posted Member (Finance) Ms.Annie Moraes on today..Com.Namboodiri
apprised her that the matter of issuing orders for extending the benefit
of 78.2% IDA fixation to the BSNL pensioners is pending with the DOT
for the last two months and urged early action.
The Member (Finance) assured that she will look into the matter
seriosly and do the needful for early settlement of the issue

Yesterday Com.K.G.Jayaraj,General Secretary had a discussion on the
issue with Shri.Prachish Khanna,Director(Establishment) DOT who had
stated that the proposal to revise the pension of both pre and post 2007
BSNL pensioers with 78.2% IDA fixation is being processed and the
file is with the Finanve section in DOT
THE MASSIVE COUNTRY WIDE DHARNA ON 29TH AUGUST,2013 BY
AIBDPA AND THE STRIKE NOTICE OF THE UNITED FORUM OF BSNL
UNIONS FOR ONE DAY STRIKE ON 27TH SEPTEMBER,2013 DEFINETLY
HAD ITS DESIRED EFFECTS AND THINGS HAVE STARTD MOVING.
WE ARE CLOSELY WATCHING THE DEVELOPMENTS AND ACT ACCORDING
TO THE SITUATION. .
