Maruti Suzuki retrenches 1000 workers, Chairman of Maruti Suzuki has stated that 500 regular and 500 contract wokers are terminated for thier alleged paerticipation in the “violence” in Manesar unit on 18th July in which a manager was killed. 114 workers including 10 office bearers of the union have already been arrested. The intension is very clear to ban TU rights of the workers
