Option for putting pension funds to Private Fund Managers
The NPS contributions are managed by Govt/PSU Fund Managers; viz , LIC Pension Fund, SBI Pension Fund and UTI Retiremement Solutions. The Central Government has now decided giving option for the depositors to invest in private pension fund thus exposing the hard earned money to the vagaries of share market. It is to be noted that some of these private funds are in loss, which may result in loss of NPS investments also. Therefore be careful about same before giving option.
Delhi now is not the most pollutted city in the world
Good news for Delhi citizens. Delhi has come out of the bad name of the’Worst Polluted City’ in the world. According to data released by World Health Organisation (WHO), Delhi is only at the 11th position in World. It is below in pollution to Gwalior (2nd), Allahabad(3rd), Patna(6th) and Raipur(7th). Zabol in Iran is the most polluted in the world at No.1. AAP Government in Delhi deserves appreciation and support in reducing pollution through its manyfold actions, though BJP, Congress, private car manufacturers and some interested parties have criticised the moves for their own self interest. They should understand that health of citizens are more important than either their political or profit concerns.

International Solidarity of the WFTU with the 48-hour Strike in Greece
The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) on behalf of its 92 million members in the 5 continents expresses its full support and class solidarity with the working class in Greece and PAME in front of the 48 hour strike called for May 6-7 and the mobilizations of May 8th 2016.
We are on the side of the working class of Greece in this important mobilizations and its generalized conflict with the antipeople policy applied by the Greek government. The Greek government using autocratic and dictatorial procedures is aiming to destroy the workers’ and people’s conquests in social security, aiming to serve the interests of the monopolies and show its obedience to the IMF, the World Bank and the EU.
We support PAME and all the working class of GReece in these three days of mobilizations in defense of the workers rights. We call upon the class oriented and militant trade union movement in every country to express their solidarity.

NPA – Culprits play victims
The Banks, especially PSU Banks, including SBI, has NPA or bad loans coming to lakhs of crores of rupees. The corporates and Mallyas who had taken loan of hundreds and thousands of crores are mostly willfully defaulting repayment with the confidence that they will never be booked due to money power and influence among the rulers.
Now, due to adverse reports in media and strong protests from people, government is compelled to take some action unwillingly. This has rattled the powerful India Inc, the corporates and big business. They cry foul and act as victims. Stop this drama, India Inc, and repay the loans you have taken from banks. Your strategy and cheating of the nation has been fully exposed.
