ANTI-FARMER LAND ACQISITION ORDINANCE LAPSED.

The Modi government was compelled to back track from its anti-farmer land acquisition ordinance. Ordinance was issued thrice  one after another hoping that it would be able to pass the controversial land bill in the Parliament. Utterly defeated by the strong opposition in Rajya Sabha as well as Lok Sabha, the government has decided not to issue another ordinance after the period of the last ordinance will be over today. As such the ordinance has lapsed.

ONE MORE RATIONALIST MURDERED- IT IS M.M.KALBARGI, FORMER VICE CHACELLOR OF KANNADA UNIVERSITY.

Shri M.M.Kalbargi, eminent scholar, author and rationalist and former Vice-Chancellor of the Kannada University at Hampi has been brutally murdered in his house at Dharwad yesterday. It is assumed that the right wing Hindu extremists are behind the crime.

This is taking a pattern. Whoever criticise and expose the Hindu extremism are being annihilated. S/Shri Narendra Dabolkar and Govind Palsare who opposed obscurantist beliefs and fought against them have been murdered earlier. So far nobody has been booked for this heinous crime by the Maharashtra government, may be purposely.

The entire country should stand up and expose and defeat these anti-people element and the forces of darkness as well.. Severe punishments should be given to the culprits.

SUPPORT THE NATIONAL STRIKE ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2015- ORGANISE SOLIDARITY DEMONSTRATION/DHARNA.

THE NATIONAL STRIKE ON 2ND SEPTEMBER,2015 HAS BECOME INEVITABLE WHEN THE CENTRAL TRADE UNIONS HAVE REJECTED THE PARTIAL AND UNCLEAR OFFERS ON CERTAIN DEMANDS BY THE MINISTERIAL SUB COMMITTEE LED BY FINANCE MINISTER ARUN JAITLEY. ONLY BMS, FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, HAS BACKED OUT OF THE UNITED STRIKE CALL BY ALL THE CENTRAL TRADE UNIONS AND INDEPENDENT FEDERATIONS INCLUDING CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, STATE GOVT EMPLOYEES, PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS, BANK, INSURANCE ETC ETC…

SO IT IS GOING TO BE A HISTORICAL STRIKE THROGH OUT THE COUNTRY. KEEPING UP THE TRADITION OF AIBDPA SINCE ITS INCEPTION WE  ARE COMMITTED TO SUPPORT THE STRIKE IN ALL SENSE. AS ALREADY BEEN CALLED UP, ALL AIBDPA UNITS ARE REQUESTED TO ORGANISE SOLIDARITY ACTION ACCORDING TO LOCAL CONDITIONS JOINTLY OR INDEPENDENTLY.

BMS SHOULD RETHINK ABOUT ITS DECISION TO WITHDRAW FROM THE NATIONALSTRIKE ON 2 SEPTEMBER, 2015.

The media report that BMS, in its core-committee meeting today, has decided to withdraw from the strike, if true, is sad and unfortunate. According to the statement of the BMS General Secretary, the government has come with certain satisfactory proposals and hence the strike can be deferred for six months. The governments’ offer is only on four out of 12 issues and even they are not at all satisfactory. All the CTUs other than BMS had rejected them and had decided for the Strike, after meeting the Ministers’ Committee headed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitely.

The entire working force in the country are already in full preparation of the strike. The issues raised are crucial and the government is on the defensive. It is unfair on the part of the BMS to leave the joint co-ordination at this crucial time. The workers will not accept this position.

The workers in the country wants a united struggle. BMS should rethink and return to the main stream of the Indian working class and participate in the strike. It is the need of the hour.
