One of the long pending issues of BSNL pensioners is settled. AIBDPA had taken up the issue of extension of CGHS facilities to BSNL pensioners with both BSNL and DOT and orders were also issued. But in the absence of specific rate to join CGHS by the BSNL pensioners who were drawing IDA pay scale and subscription in force being in the CDA pay scale it could not be implemented. This was again brought to the notice of DoT and the orders is now issued on 31-08-2016 in this regard. To view the order click the following.
