The 3rd biennial conference of Suri district branch was held on 7.8.16 at Rampurhat town in Birbhum District. The open session was jointly organized by AIBDPA, BSNLEU and CMU. After flag hoisting and garlanding martyr’s column and Com KG Bose’s portrait the open session commenced. Com Pijush Chakraborty Actg. CS inaugurated . Other speakers at the open session were Coms Netatai Prasad Ghosh Dist Convener Pensioners Yuktamancha, Jawharlal Jana Jt Convener 12 July Committee, Pankaj Saha VP CMU WB, Nazes Nauroj OS BSNLEU WB, Nikhil Das AIBSNLEA and Bholanath De Railway Pensioner. The presidium consisting of Coms Debdas Chakraborty, Arup Kr Sinha and Anup Kr Ghosh controlled the proceedings. Subject committee meeting was presided over by the presidium consisting of Coms Debdas Chakraborty, Ashis Mukherjee and Nabogapal Chakraborty. Coms Madan Mohan Ghosh DS and Ajit Bose Treasurer placed the Secretary’s report and Accounts respectively. After deliberation by the delegates both were passed unanimously. 21 resolutions were adopted. Office bearers with Coms Debdas Chakraborty, Madan Mohan Ghosh and Ajit Bose were elected as President, District Secretary and Treasurer respectively
