The NJCA meeting held on -03-06-2016 has decided to serve the strike notice on 09-06-2016 for the indefinite strike of central government employees from 11-07-2016. The decision was taken in the wake of the most disappointing proposals of the empowered committee on implementation of the 7th Pay Commission recommendations. The Cabinet Secretary has conveyed the proposals to the leaders of NJCA and the only positive recommendation of pension parity is not to be implemented. Only the minimum scale of the recommended Rs.18,000 will be increased a little without any consequential benefits. The National Executive Committee meeting of NCCPA is being held on 27-06-2016 to take stock of the situation and decide on future course of action.

It has become crystal clear that without a serious struggle the government is not going to concede the genuine demands of the employees and the pensioners as well. So let us be prepared to take up any responsibility in the ensuing struggle to defeat the nefarious game of the government.
