The Central Trade Unions observed 70th anniversary of World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) on 3rd October, 2015 throughout the country. In New Delhi, on the day, the 3rd October, 2015, a rally of workers was held from AITUC Head Quarters, Dindayal Upadhaya Marg to CITU Head Quarters, BTR Bhawan, Rouse Avenue in the evening. . Later on, a meeting highlighting the history of WFTU and it’s role in the movements was held. Coms. Tapan Sen,MP, GS, CITU ,H. Mahadevan, AITUC, Abani Roy,UTUC and other leaders of CTUs addressed.The meeting was presided over by a presidium of Coms. Hemmalata, CITU and others.Com.K.G.Jayaraj, General Secretary participated fully.From BSNLEU, comrades from Haryana and UP(West) including CS,Haryana, Com.
