The decision of the central cabinet to form a separate subsidiary company for the BSNL towers is absolutely with an ulterior move to weaken BSNL. This is opposed by the Forum of BSNL Unions / Associations and thousands of BSNL employees participated in the Mass Dharna through out the country held today, 16th September, 2015. AIBDPA members also participated in most of the places.

The massive Dharna at the BSNL Corporate office ,New Delhi was inaugurated by Com. V. A. N. Namboodiri, Patron, BSNLEU and Advisor, AIBDPA. Com. Chandeswar Singh, Chairman, Forum and SG, NFTE BSNL presided. Com. Swapan Chakraborty, Acting General Secretary, BSNLEU, Com. Balbir Singh, President, BSNLEU, Com. G.L.Jogi, Chairman, SNEA, Com.K.G.Jayaraj, General Secretary, AIBDPA and a host of leaders addressed.
