The Insurance Employees have decided for a nation wide STRIKE on 9th March, 2015 against adoption of Insurance bill by the Lok sabha on 04-03-2015 by the BJP government despite strong opposition by the left and other opposition parties. The bill provides an hike in the FDI in the insurance sector from the present 26 per cent to 49 per cent which is aimed to weaken the three public sector insurance companies in the country.

AIBDPA strongly condemns this ant-PSU measure of the government and calls upon all its units to organize solidarity demonstration on 9th March in support of the strike.
