The first day’s relay hunger fast was conducted before the CCA office ,Meerut in Uttar Pradesh(West) Circle. A good number of pensioners participated which started at 10AM on 21-07-2015. Com. Abdul Rasheed, Circle Secretary spoke elaborately on all the issues confronting the pensioners with particular reference to the two issues, 78.2% IDA merger and Restoration of medical allowance for which the agitation is launched.
