The first day of the WFTU central activity concluded. The Delegates form more than 40 countries of the world this morning in Brazil discussed about Geopolitics, CELAC (Community of Latin American States and Caribbean) and Transatlantic Association of Trade and Investment.

In the evening the Congress continued with the topic: “The challenges of trade unionism: WFTU 70 years: challenges, struggles and history”, where the General Secretary of WFTU, George Mavrikos gave a speech on the 70th anniversary of WFTU.
