Income Tax Department has stated that it will publish the names of defaulters of Income Tax of more than one crore rupees, thus shaming them before the public. The name of defaulters of 2015-16 will be published shortly. It is a good decision.

But it is unlikely to happen as there would be interventions from the higher-ups.
