United Forum of Bank Unions has decided for another national strike.This follows breakdown of another round of negotiations with the Indian Banks Association. The bank unions were demanding 25% wage hike,but, the bank management is adament of 11% hike only.

As part of this agitation,bank employees will wear black badges on October 10 and country-wide demonstrations will be held on October 17. A one day Dharna will also be conducted at all state capitals between October 18 and 31.This would be followed by one day national Protest Strike,date of wcich will be decided later.
