Two new branches under Kharagpur District and one new branch under Kolkata District have been formed.

CONTAI BRANCH.

A well attended convention of pensioners was held at Contai in Kharagpur District on 22-11-2015 which was controlled by a presidium of Coms.B.N.Gayen and Umakanta Nayak.Com.Susanta Ghosh, Circle Secretary inaugurated the convention. Coms.R.P.Gunchhait, Convenor, Anupam Saha, District Secretary, AIBDPA, Pankaj Jana, District Secretary, BSNLEU, Amalesh Pradhan, Branch Secretary, BSNLEU addressed the convention. New Branch unit was formed and office bearers were elected with Com.B.N.Gayen (President) Com.R.P.Guchhait (Secretary) and Com.Badal Malakar (Treasurer)

MIDNAPUR BRANCH.

Midnapur Branch under KKharagpur District was formed in the meeting held on 29-11-2015 . A presidium of Coms.Phanibhushan Das and Chittaranjan Patra conducted the proceedings. Com. Susanta Ghosh, Circle Secretary inaugurated with an elaborate speech. Coms.Pijush Chakraborty, ACS, Anupam Saha, DS, Swapan Pal, DS,BSNLEU, Sanjib Debnath, DS,CMU, Soumen Kundu, BS,BSNLEU and T.S.Mondal, BS,CMU addressed. Office bearers elected unanimously with Com.Phanibhushan Das (President), Com.Gopal Chandra Mondal (Secretary) and Com.Aravinda Sasmal (Treasurer)

HOOGLY BRANCH.

A meeting of pensioners was held at Tarakeshwar in Kolkata District on 25-11-2015 to form the new branch . Com.Robin Mitra presided over the meeting. Com.Pankaj Saha, ACS inaugurated the meeting.Coms.Ajith Nandan, DS,, D.Dasbakshi, ADS, Susanta Chattopadhyay and Madan Roy spoke. The new branch was formed and Coms. Asok Kolay, Robin Mondal and Madan Roy were elcted unanimously as President,Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
