KOLKATA CIRCLE ORGANISED A HUGE DHARNA IN FRONT OF THE TELEPHONE BHAWAN,KOLKATA PARTICIPATED BY HUNDREDS OF PENSIONERS OUT OF WHICH A GOOD NUMBER WERE WOMEN COMRADES. THE DHRNA WAS ADDRESSED BY COM.A.K.BHATTACHARJEE,PRESIDENT,COM.SUPRIYA MITRA,VICE PRESIDENT & CIRCLE SECRETARY, COM.D.BASU, AGS AND COM.PABITRA CHAKRABORTY,DY SECRETARY GENERAL,NCCPA.

Tamil Nadu Circle: Massive participation is reported in the Dharnas/Demonstrations held at Erode, Nilagiris, Coimbatore, , Viruthunagar, Tuticorin, Thiruchirapally, Pondicherry, , Nagercoi, Vellore and Karaikudi .

In Chennai, both Chennai telecom and telephones districts jointly conducted the Dharan at CGM office. Com.C.K.Narasimhan, Circle Secretary, Com. K. Arumugam, CHQ Org Secretary and Com. Murugaiya, Asst Circle Secretary, BSNLEU addressed the Dharna.

MADHYA PRADESH: Dharnas/demonstrations have been held at Jabalpur, Indore, Gwalior, Narsinghpur, Mandsore, Guna, Ratlam and Sagar In Bhopal the big Dharna organized at CGMT Office was addressed by Com. H. S. Thakur, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU & AIBDPA and Com. S. V. Shrivastava, CHQ Vice President among others.

GUJARAT :Protest day was observed by all the district branches in Gujarat Circle by holding demonstrations and sending saving grams to the Minister and DOT Secretary. In Jamnagar a huge rally was held at D.K.V.Circle which was addressed by Com. M.B. Chaniyara, Circle Secretary.
