In accordance of the decision of Mysuru CEC, Burdwan District Branch has held a special generalbody meeting on 29-03-2017 under the presidentship of Com.Md Yunus. Com.S.P.Ray, District Secretry welcomed all and explained the issues formulated by CEC Mysuru on which agitations are to be conducted. Coms. A.Mukharjee, S.S.Mondal, J.Ghosh, M.Kundu, A.Biswas, A.K.Kaji and B.R.Ghosh also addressed the meeting.
The meeting also reviewed the written assurance of DGM, consequent on sit in demonstration on 08-03-2017. The progress is very slow with regard to settlement of medical bills and 78.2% IDA fixation work and decided to go on indefinite sit in demonstration from 20-04-2017,if the problems are not settled within 15-04-2017.
