Manohar Lal Khattar is notorious for making communal statements, whipping up communal hatred. Now, he has stated that he is going to introduce pro-corporate measures, by amending the existing Labour Laws. According to the media, Khattar has stated that the Haryana state government is in the process of allowing industrial units with less than 300 workers to close down the factory without the approval of the state government. The state government is also going to amend the Labour Law, according to which factories with less than 100 workers need not register with the state government. Haryana is a state with major industrial establishments, of which many are corporates. The proposed move of the state government will greatly harm the working class in Haryana state.
